On May 15, 1994 the Palouse County Search and Rescue organized a mock accident to show the students at Garfield-Palouse High School in Idaho the possible consiquences of drinking and driving. We used students from the school, hoping that seeing their friend or classmate laying on the ground with blood pouring from their heads would strike a chord in some of them. And watching another one of their classmates hand-cuffed and arrested by the police might just drive the lesson home.
